Our Mission
To empower Nigerian communities to break the cycle of poverty through integrated programs in nutrition, education, healthcare, and economic development, built on principles of dignity, partnership, and sustainability.
About AGEBETTER INITIATIVE
We are a registered Nigerian nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainable poverty alleviation through evidence-based, community-led programs.
AGEBETTER INITIATIVE was founded in April 2025 by a group of passionate Nigerian professionals dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations. Recognizing the growing challenges of poverty and inequality in our communities, we came together to create sustainable solutions.
Though newly established, our organization is built on years of collective experience in community development, social work, and nonprofit management. We focus on evidence-based interventions that address the root causes of poverty through integrated programs.
Currently operating in Abuja, we have reached over 250 beneficiaries in our first 8 months through partnerships with 3 local community organizations. Our approach emphasizes community participation, dignity, and measurable outcomes as we build a foundation for sustainable growth.
To empower Nigerian communities to break the cycle of poverty through integrated programs in nutrition, education, healthcare, and economic development, built on principles of dignity, partnership, and sustainability.
A Nigeria where every person has access to nutritious food, quality education, essential healthcare, and economic opportunities—enabling them to live with dignity and contribute to thriving communities.
We co-design programs with local leaders and beneficiaries, ensuring solutions reflect community needs and cultural contexts.
We publish quarterly financial reports, impact data, and independent audits, maintaining the highest standards of nonprofit governance.
Our programs are informed by research, monitored through rigorous data collection, and continuously improved based on outcomes.
We prioritize programs that empower women and girls, recognizing their central role in community development and poverty reduction.
We build local capacity, create lasting partnerships, and design programs that continue to benefit communities long-term.
We treat every beneficiary as a partner, respecting their knowledge, agency, and inherent worth in all our interactions.
